Food Support for Belarusians with Maisto bankas
Created by DapamogaVerified

Every week, food supplies arrive at the Belarusian Castle. Shortly afterwards, they are turned into food packages for Belarusians who were forced to leave Belarus and currently need support in Lithuania.
Dapamoga regularly receives these products through Maisto bankas, a Lithuanian charitable organisation that helps prevent edible food from going to waste and distributes it through organisations supporting people facing difficult circumstances.
Dapamoga has been cooperating with Maisto bankas for several years. Every week, we receive food products, and our volunteers prepare packages that are then distributed to the people we support.
They are Belarusians who were forced to leave their country because of repression and start their lives over in Lithuania. They include families with children, elderly people, former political prisoners, and people currently experiencing financial hardship.
For some, a food package means saving several dozen euros that can instead be spent on rent, medication, transport, or other essential expenses.
For others, it is also an important reminder that they are not alone during a difficult time.
However, to keep this system running, Dapamoga also incurs costs associated with regularly receiving food through Maisto bankas.
That is why we are launching a €1,000 fundraiser to enable us to continue receiving food and preparing packages for Belarusians who need our support.
Our goal is €1,000.
Whether it is €5, €10 or €20, every contribution matters. Small donations come together to provide practical assistance to real people every week.
Let us help those who were forced to leave their homes feel that they do not have to face their difficulties alone in Lithuania.
Please support our fundraiser. If you are unable to contribute financially at the moment, please share it.
Together, we can continue doing something simple but essential: helping people meet their most basic needs.
